From October 22 to 27, 2025, representatives of the Italian Coordination for Yugoslavia (JUGOCOORD) were guides and participants in an extraordinary transnational collective experience. The main goal of this demanding mission was to visit the cities in Apulia where tens of thousands of Yugoslav partisans lived between 1943 and 1945; at the same time, other cultural and social activities were held, including participation in several conferences and visits to important places in Apulia and beyond. These activities were made possible by the cooperation between JUGOCOORD and other organizations, such as the Josip Broz Tito Society from Pula (hereinafter DJBTP), the YU-Centar Tito from Serbia (hereinafter YUCT), the Campo 65 Association from Altamura, the Gramsci Foundation from Apulia, as well as individual anti-fascist intellectuals and activists.
We publish a report (available in Italian and Serbocroatian) on those remarkable days, followed by some thoughts on the subject.
