Vogliamo presentare, qui in Italia,
questo
interessante libro dello scrittore tedesco Jurgen Elsaesser il
quale per questa sua ultima fatica letteraria ha
assunto ampia documentazione in
diversi paesi europei ed anche d’ oltre oceano. Coadiuvato
oltretutto dalle sue ripetute visite in terra
Jugoslava, egli è stato in grado di produrre un libro di
straordinario
valore analitico e critico concernente la politica estera
dell’imperialismo USA, soprattutto nei Balcani.
Da notare la denuncia
dell’ autore inerente all’ ampio ruolo
giocato dalle religioni ed in particolare da una parte di
religiosi
islamici assunti a manovalanza criminale dall’ imperialismo nella
distruzione della Jugoslavia, e le connessioni esistenti tra
altre manifestazioni terroristiche nel mondo, non esclusa
quella alle due torri dell’
11 Settembre.
L’ autore fa notare, tra
l’ altro, come anche in questo caso gli Usa abbiano violato
l’embargo imposto dall’ONU contro il
traffico di armi e al contrario le abbiano ampiamente fornite ai
guerriglieri santi atti alla distruzione e alla divisione dei
popoli della Jugoslavia.

The main suspects 9/11 attacks fought during the Nineties in the
Balkans. Only an hour’s flight from European centers such as Vienna and
Munich,
they trained in merciless combat against the infidels – with the
support of
the CIA and other Western intelligence agencies.
While the mainstream press and standard literature about al-Qaida
describe the activities of the terrorists on all other continents at
length, the jihadists' European deployment area has been largely
ignored. In
particular in the Bosnian civil war, several thousand Muslims from
Arabic
countries and Iran fought alongside their Muslim brethren against the
Christians, i.e. Croats and Serbs. As in the Eighties in Afghanistan,
the US
Administration did a deal with the devil: in violation of the
UNarms embargo,
Washington supplied the holy warriors with sophisticated weaponry.
Osama bin Laden received a passport from the ‘pro-Western’ government
in Sarajevo, and hundreds of his followers settled permanently in
Bosnia
and Albania. From there, U.S. secret agents funneled them into Kosovo
and Macedonia, while others headed for Vienna and Hamburg – where they
prepared the inferno of Sept. 11th.
The book is a result of several years of investigation, and is
based on Anglo-American, French, German and Serbo-Croatian sources, as
well as on information provided by intelligence experts on the Balkans
and members
of the UN mission to Bosnia, and on numerous visits there.

The ‘Afghan’ alliance between the USA and the mujahedin was
revived in theBalkans, and therefore it was no surprise that the main
suspects of 9/11obtained their baptism of fire there (Chapter 1).
Because of its
history, Bosnia-Herzegovina offered ideal conditions for establishing a
jihad
front(Chapter 2). But it was only due to Western interference that the
radical Muslims and supporters of Holy War were able to oust the
moderate Muslim politicians in Bosnia in the early Nineties (Chapter
3). Vienna was at
first the control center for the arms smuggling operations to support
the
jihad,and it was there that Osama bin Laden obtained a Bosnian passport
(Chapter 4). The Bosnian Muslim army was formed with the help of money
and
volunteers from the Islamic world; Bin Laden himself discussed the
details with the Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic (Chapter 5).
Foreign jihadis in particular committed terrible atrocities in
the course of the three-year-long civil war (1992-1995), and even
some of the massacres attributed to the Serbs may have been committed
by them (Chapter 6).
However, the combat effectiveness of the holy warriors was low at
first; this changed only after Bill Clinton became US President in 1993
and organized the secret supply of arms them—in cooperation with the
US’s
“arch enemy” Iran (Chapter 7). Military men assigned to the UN
peacekeeping mission, who had observed the breach of the UN arms
embargo, were
pressured by US intelligence to keep silent (Chapter 8). The most
important
player in this “Bosniagate” was the Pentagon contractor MPRI (Chapter
9), which
also supervised the Bosnian Army after the Dayton Agreement of 1995
(Chapter
10).
Instead of removing the fundamentalists as the official American legend
has it, MPRI put the most able jihadis on its payroll, trained them in
Albania, which by now was also infiltrated by bin-Laden’s associates
(Chapters
11 and 12) and sent them to support the Albanian terrorist movement KLA
[=
UCK] in Kosovo and Macedonia (Chapter 13).
The bulk of these activities was financed by Saudi-American
“humanitarian” foundations, in which bin-Laden played only a minor role
(Chapter 14). Indeed, one begins to wonder whether al-Qaida is not more
a PR
invention of US foreign policy than an actually active organization,
especially since many of the top terrorists are suspected of
working Western
intelligence agencies as well (chapter 17). One example is the main
suspects of 9/11 (Chapter 18), especially the two alleged
masterminds of the plot
(Chapter 19).
In any case, thanks to Western patronage, a terrorist bridgehead has
been established in Bosnia-Herzegovina that threatens the further
development of the country itself (Chapter 15), as well as the security
of the whole European continent (Chapter 16). Furthermore, significant
movements of jihadis and transports between the Balkans and Chechnya
have been
observed for several years (Chapter 20). But this is not seen as a
danger by
Western politicians and media, because the US oil lobby has already
cast an eye
on the Russian fossil-fuel reserves (epilogue).

Le principali persone sospette degli attacchi del 11 settembre,
combattevano nei Balcani negli anni novanta. A solo un’ ora di volo dai
grandi centri europei come Vienna e Monaco di Baviera, si addestravano
in combattimenti senza pietà contro gli infedeli - con
l’appoggio della CIA e altri servizi segreti occidentali.
Mentre i giornali e la letteratura sul Al-Qaida descrivono a lungo le
attività dei terroristi negli altri continenti, il loro
spiegamento in Europa è stato quasi totalmente ignorato. In
primo luogo nella
guerra civile in Bosnia. Lì, parecchi migliaia di musulmani dai
paesi
arabi e l’Iran combattevano a fianco dei loro fratelli musulmani contro
i cristiani, cioè i croati e i serbi. Come negli anni ottanta in
Afghanistan, l’amministrazione americana ha concluso un patto col
diavolo; in violazione dell’embargo degli armi imposto dal ONU,
Washington forniva armi sofisticate ai guerriglieri santi.
Osama bin Laden ricevette un passaporto dal governo “filo-occidentale”
di Sarajevo, e centinaia dei suoi seguaci si sono stabiliti in Bosnia e
Albania. Da li, agenti dei servizi segreti americani li facevano
passare in Kosovo e Macedonia, mentre altri si sono diretti verso
Vienna ed Amburgo – da dove hanno preparato l’inferno del 11 settembre.
Il libro è frutto di parecchi anni di investigazioni, ed
è basato su fonti anglo-americane, francesi, tedesche, croate e
serbe, sulle informazioni fornite dagli esperti di intelligence sui
Balcani e membri della missione ONU in Bosnia, e sulle numerose visite
dell’autore nei Balcani.
Contenuto
L’alleanza “afghana” fra gli USA e i mujahedin è stata ripresa
nei Balcani, e di conseguenza non fu una sorpresa che le principali
persone sospette del 11 settembre avessero ricevuto il loro battesimo
di fuoco proprio li (Capitolo 1). A causa della sua storia, la
Bosnia-Erzegovina offrì condizioni ideali per stabilire
ivi un fronte della jihad (Capitolo 2), ma fu soltanto a causa degli
interferenze occidentali che i musulmani radicali ed i sostenitori
della guerra santa riuscirano a cacciare i politici musulmani moderati
dalla Bosnia-Erzegovina nei primi anni novanta (Capitolo 3).
Vienna era, al inizio, il centro di controllo per le operazioni per il
contrabbando degli armi per sostenere la jihad, ed era li che Osama
bin Laden ottenne un passaporto bosniaco (Capitolo 4). L’esercito
musulmano bosniaco fu creato con finanziamenti ed invio di volontari
dal mondo islamico; Bin Laden in persona ne discusse i dettagli
con il presidente Alija Izetbegovic (Capitolo 5). Durante i tre anni
della guerra civile (1992-1995) vennero commesse terribili
atrocità, in modo
particolare dai jihadisti stranieri, ed è anche possibile che
alcuni
massacri attribuiti ai serbi siano stati commessi da loro (Capitolo 6).
All’inizio l’efficacia combattiva dei guerriglieri santi fu molto
scarsa. Questo cambiò solo dopo che Bill Clinton divenne il
presidente americano nel 1993 e organizzò la fornitura di armi a
loro – in cooperazione con “il suo peggiore nemico” l’Iran (Capitolo
7). I militari della missione di pace dell’ONU, che avevano
osservato la violazione dell’embargo degli armi imposto dal ONU,
vennero messi sotto pressione dall’intelligence americana
perché tacessero
(Capitolo 8).
Il protagonista piu importante di questa “Bosniagate” fua uno dei
fornitori del Pentagono la MPRI (Capitolo 9), che controllava
l’esercito bosniaco dopo l’accordo di Dayton del 1995 (Capitolo 10).
Invece di rimuovere i fondamentalisti, come la versione ufficiale
americana sostiene, la MPRI assunse i jihadisti piu abili, li
addestrò in Albania, paese già infiltrato al epoca dai
seguaci di Bin
Laden (Capitoli 11 e 12) e poi li mandò a sostenere il movimento
terroristico albanese KLA (=UCK) in Kosovo e Macedonia (Capitolo 13).
Gran parte di queste attività era finanziata da fondazioni
“umanitarie” saudite, nelle quali Bin Laden esercitava un ruolo minore
(Capitolo 14). A questo punto, c’e da domandarsi se Al-Qaida non sia
piu una invenzione della public relations (PR) della politica estera
dagli USA che non una vera organizzazione indipendente, attiva e
funzionante, specialmente se si tiene conto che molti dei piu
importanti terroristi sono sospettati di lavorare anche per i vari
servizi segreti occidentali (Capitolo 17). Un esempio di quest’ultimo
argomento
è quello delle principali persone sospette del 11 settembre
(Capitolo 18), in particolare modo le due presunte menti del complotto
(Capitolo 19).
In ogni caso, grazie all’appoggio occidentale, è stato creato in
Bosnia-Erzegovina un ponte terroristico che minaccia non solo lo
sviluppo del paese stesso (Capitolo 15) ma anche la sicurezza di tutto
l’Europa (Capitolo 16). Inoltre, importanti spostamenti di jihadisti e
mezzi di trasporti fra i Balcani e la Chechnya sono stati notati da
parecchi anni (Capitolo 20). Ma questo non è visto come un
pericolo dai politici occidentali e i media, perche la lobby
dell’industria petrolifera americana ha già messo l’occhio sulle
riserve russe (Epilogo).
