[Updated June 23, 2020] The most critical phase of the coronavirus pandemic being over, the jury of the "G. Torre" competition decided to fix the new terms of the second edition as follows: SUBMISSION of the papers before December 31, 2020; WINNERS to be announced on April 30, 2021.
Already submitted papers will be anyhow acquired for the competition, unless the authors decide to update them by making a new shipment within the new deadline, with the specification "Cancel and replace the previous consignment."

With the aim of spreading a critical view regarding the birth and activity of the “International Criminal Tribunal for Former Yugoslavia” (ICTY), JUGOCOORD ONLUS [a no-profit organization for social benefit, based in Italy] grants two prizes for the year 2020-2021

On October 5th 2018, the Giuseppe Torre Award Jury assigned the prizes for critical essays on the Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY).

June 1st, 2018, is the deadline for submitting to the Italian Coordination for Yugoslavia (Jugocoord) the essays to run for the "Giuseppe Torre" Award. The submitted works should deal with origin, functioning, activities and effects of the "International Criminal Tribunal for crimes committed in the territory of former Yugoslavia" (ICTY), which has been recently closed
