Le violenti scosse di terremoto che hanno colpito la Croazia il 29 dicembre 2020 e nei giorni successivi, hanno provocato ingenti danni materiali alla cittadina di Petrinja, a circa 50km a sudest della capitale Zagabria. La cittadina di 20 mila abitanti è stata semidistrutta, mentre danni notevoli si sono registrati anche a Sisak, Glina e nella stessa Zagabria. Il bilancio conta anche morti e decine di feriti, alcuni dei quali in gravi condizioni.

Si è svolta martedì 22 settembre 2020 a Colfiorito di Foligno (PG), nel sito dell'ex campo di concentramento, la commemorazione del 77.mo anniversario della grande fuga dei prigionieri jugoslavi

Le Casermette di Colfiorito nel 1991 (da B. Tomasevic: Montenegro. LINT 2009)

Dopo alterne vicende e numerose nostre sollecitazioni, il Comune di Foligno in luglio ha comunicato il suo diniego alla apposizione di una semplice lapide che onorasse gli antifascisti reclusi nel campo di concentramento delle "Casermette" di Colfiorito.

[Updated June 23, 2020] The most critical phase of the coronavirus pandemic being over, the jury of the "G. Torre" competition decided to fix the new terms of the second edition as follows: SUBMISSION of the papers before December 31, 2020; WINNERS to be announced on April 30, 2021.
Already submitted papers will be anyhow acquired for the competition, unless the authors decide to update them by making a new shipment within the new deadline, with the specification "Cancel and replace the previous consignment."
